This was literally THE BEST ROAST I’ve ever eaten. The beef was melting in my mouth, which I’ve found difficult to get when I’ve ordered beef in the past, but this, I could have cut with a butter knife!! The roast potatoes were incredibly crispy, the vegetables were fresh and cooked to perfection. Lastly the yorkshire pudding…..I’m not a fan of them normally, but I’d have happily eaten a whole plate of them. This place is my number 1 for Sunday roasts
Called in today to get something to eat. Excellent experience very pleasant people, bowl of water straight away for dog and our food was great. Wife had pizza, I had jaw breaker burger and loved it. Clean and tidy premises.

Just went in for food so can’t comment on the hotel as a place to stay… the food however was very good, we had a selection of dishes mainly from the street food menu and we were very pleased with the flavour of the food and the portion sizes, cost was reasonable and the service was great. All in all we would definitely eat there again and recommend it to our friends.
Ate fabulous lunch here on Boxing Day, bumped into the owner outside and what a hidden gem this place is, great food, good beers and super friendly bar staff, made to feel right at home. Thank you Mr Birchtree!
